About Colene Wigington
Colene’s journey in the mobile home park industry began in October 2006, when she and her husband, Gil Wigington, purchased Sunset Acres Mobile Home Park.
Over the 13 years they owned the park, Colene played a key role in their hands-on management approach—building strong tenant relationships, coordinating work orders, and keeping the accounts receivable balanced.
Her broader real estate career took off in 2009 when she co-founded C&G Realty, managing office operations while remaining a central point of support for the mobile home park tenants.
Today, Colene works behind the scenes at Mid-Plains Land & Realty, ensuring clients’ needs are met efficiently and professionally.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with friends and traveling to Nashville, Tennessee, to visit their son.
